Authoring
Our AI authoring feature is designed to streamline the requirements generation process for automotive engineering projects. This feature utilizes advanced natural language processing algorithms to understand complex engineering concepts and terminology. It can assist in drafting requirements, suggesting improvements, and ensuring clarity and consistency.
For newly created items you have to provide an initial prompt to kick off the generation process, otherwise the current content of the item will be used.
You can use the pre-defined rephrase, expand and condense buttons to interact with the model or enter your own prompt to refine the requirement. You can repeat this process as many times as you need to get the best result, and you can even adjust the output yourself. Each iteration will use the current content of the text editor to generate the next version.
Clicking accept will move the proposal back to the original CodeBeamer editor. Not that you will need to save it inside CodeBeamer to persist changes.

An integrated version of the AI Chat widget.
Analysis
While the Requirement analysis provides information about the currently saved item revision, the analysis results within the Copilot are updated as the content of the description changes, providing live feedback about the quality and potential violations even before saving it.
Similar items
As in the Command Palette, it looks for items that show high similarity to the current one within the selected scope. It’s a helpful tool for finding potential duplicates.
Search
Similarly to the globally available Semantic search, it performs a semantic search for the given query, but it does so within the selected scope instead of a global search.
